The tenants of Eagan Pointe celebrated Mardi Gras by decorating masks. They used sequins, feathers, and gems to individualize them. Look at how gorgeous each person’s turned out!
Eagan Pointe was visited by the Irish Dancers of Rince Na Chroi, an Irish dancing school in St. Paul. Their youngest member is 3 years old. The dancers performed for the tenants of Eagan Pointe and then spent some time visiting with them. Everyone had a blast. Sláinte! ☘️☘️☘️Read More

Vulcan Happy Hour
Eagan Pointe kicked off their 3rd annual Winter Carnival with a Vulcan Happy Hour. The residents were graced with the presence of their very own Eagan Pointe Vulcan that marked anyone who participated in the happy hour. Other events the residents are participating in for the Winter Carnival include a medallion hunt, a puzzle challenge, Queen’s Tea bingo and the Coronation Ball at the end of the week.
Winter Carnival Puzzle Challenge
The tenants of Eagan Pointe participated in the Winter Carnival Puzzle Challenge. They broke up into teams of three. All teams put the same puzzle together as a race. The team that won the race included Jewell Swan, Mary Christopherson and Stuart Ulfers. It only took that group about 17 minutes to put the puzzle together. All teams worked so well together and enjoyed competing against their fellow tenants.
Third Annual Coronation Ball
Eagan Pointe hosted the Third Annual Coronation Ball as the final celebration of the Winter Carnival. During the ball, tenant Susan Renaud was recognized for finding the medallion from the Medallion Hunt. Mary Christopherson, Stuart Ulfers, and Jewell Swan were also recognized as the winners of the puzzle challenge. We bid farewell to our 2018 Snow King and Queen – Dick and Jewell, as well as crowned our 2019 Snow King and Queen – Forrest Root and Donna Gerber. We also enjoyed refreshments and musical entertainment.Read More

As the holiday season is winding down, we’d like to share our last few Christmas festivities at Eagan Pointe Senior Living. We had a great holiday happy hour on the Friday right before Christmas. We enjoyed festive drinks, jolly games, and holiday cheer with our friends at Eagan Pointe.
A group of tenants from Eagan Pointe also caroled for their fellow tenants. They were led by our activity coordinator, Nichole, on the guitar. They sang and jingled all the way through the holiday season. It was a great time for the carolers to perform for their friends, and it was a great time for the tenants of Eagan Pointe to see their fellow neighbors caroling.Read More

Happy Holidays to all! This holiday season at Eagan Pointe Senior Living has been a busy one. From gingerbread cookies to a holiday jazz concert to Christmas caroling, you can say we’ve had a very festive month of December. The tenants decorated gingerbread cookies for our upcoming holiday party. They let their creativity flow to bring the gingerbread men and women to life!
Here are pictures of all the elves of Eagan Pointe putting up holiday decorations. After 4 years of putting the decorations up together, these elves have the process down pat! It took no time at all to turn Eagan Pointe into a holiday wonderland!
Preschoolers from St. John Neumann visited the tenants of Eagan Pointe. The students all came as reindeer and sang great carols.
Eagan Pointe had a special holiday concert put on by the Eagan High School Jazz Band. They played jazzy renditions of popular holiday music. They even took some time out of the concert to sing carols with the tenants!
The Garden Cove tenants of Eagan Pointe made and decorated salt dough ornaments. They mixed the dough, rolled it out, and cut holiday shapes. Once the salt dough dried out, they painted the ornaments.
Eagan Pointe hosted their annual holiday party for tenants, their families, and friends. It was a huge success! Attendees of the party enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres, listened to delightful holiday music, and, of course, had a visit from Santa.Read More

We are bidding farewell to a couple that we have enjoyed having as residents at Eagan Pointe Senior Living. Priscilla and Roger were adored by our staff and tenants. In their departure, they left us with these kind words:
“Dear Eagan Pointe Friends,
We would like to apologize for our sudden departure from Eagan Pointe. Circumstances did not permit us to say farewell the way we would have liked to.
We enjoyed our stay at Eagan Pointe and appreciate the many services availed us, along with the friends we made among the residents and staff. We have moved to a residence to be nearer to our daughters.
Eagan Pointe is an outstanding organization where, because of you, we built many fond memories. Best wishes to each of you in the future.
Priscilla and Roger”
We will miss you both around here, but we will cherish the fond memories that were created!

Eagan Pointe tenants had a great time celebrating Halloween. There was a parade of Trick-or-Treaters from a local preschool to entertain the tenants. The kitchen staff dressed as the cast of Peter Pan. The management ladies were the cast of The Wizard of Oz. The three ladies who won our costume contest were Ms. Witch (Mary Ann Wilson), Black Cat (Janice Torrini), and Ms. Hawaii (Evelyn Nultimeier). We also had some fun with some Halloween Witches Brew.

Our residents at Eagan Pointe Senior Living have been keeping very busy this autumn season! From a beautiful fall leaves tour to a visit from the Precious Pets program, we are having lots of fun as we inch closer to the new year. Take a look at our most recent activities!
The tenants on the Garden Cove floors of Eagan Pointe were able to participate in a Precious Pets program. The animals were all rescued pets. The tenants were able pet them and hold them. The pets included a gecko and other reptiles, as well as a lion rabbit, hamster, guinea pig, hedgehog, and more. The tenants loved seeing the animals and being able to hold them in their laps!
The tenants of Eagan Pointe took a tour to see the fall leaves change colors. We drove all around the town of Eagan right at the peak of the color change. Everywhere we looked there was a different color to see!
The tenants of Eagan Pointe took a virtual trip to Sweden. We learned all about the customs of Swedish people and what to do when you are in Sweden. We topped it off with authentic Swedish meatballs from Ikea with some lingonberry sauce and pickled herring. And just like the Swedes, we drank some caffeinated coffee.
The tenants of Eagan Pointe have been busy with festive activities. Here they are preparing for Halloween by coloring in witches and pumpkins!
