We recently received a very kind, heartfelt message from the daughter of a former resident couple who both sadly passed away earlier this year. In her letter, she expressed her gratitude for all the amazing associates here at Eagan Pointe Senior Living:

heartwarming thank you letter

Eagan Pointe’s Residence Director, Renee, and Assistant Residence Director, Mickey, received a heartwarming thank you letter from the daughter of a former community member who sadly passed away earlier this year:

“Thank you both for helping to take care of mom this past year. It was a journey that started in 2016 and now she is at peace.

Thank you, Mickey, for managing the calls, the mail, and so many other details. And Renee, for your communications and overall management of life at Eagan Pointe. I couldn’t have done it without your support and knowing how much you cared for mom.

Eagan Pointe will always have a special place in my heart and in my mind.” – Susan

We can’t tell you how much your kind, thoughtful words mean to us, Susan. We are so lucky to have had such an amazing person with us in our community, and she will be missed by many here at Eagan Pointe.

St. Patrick’s Day Spirit & Retirement Celebration for Char

April 9th, 2021

The St. Patrick’s Day spirit was certainly present at Eagan Pointe last month thanks to some crafty residents and thoughtful gifts from a family member.

Residents of our Garden Cove units created lovely leprechauns for fun, festive decorations. The daughter of our friend and community member, George F., also donated medical-grade surgical masks with St. Patrick’s Day prints for our staff to wear on the holiday. Thank you for the amazing and very kind gifts! Who needs lucky clovers when you’re surrounded by such incredible, caring people? ?☘

We had a bittersweet day at Eagan Pointe when we celebrated the retirement of friend and associate, Char. She was a member of our housekeeping team for nearly 4.5 years and we are so lucky to have had her as part of our community. We can’t thank her enough for all the hard work, compassion, and dedication she’s provided us over the years!

Char will be moving to Arizona in August and will be greatly missed by our associates and residents. Please join us in congratulating and wish Char a very happy retirement!

Bringing the Halloween Spirit to Eagan Pointe

November 10th, 2020

We certainly got into the Halloween spirit here at Eagan Pointe last month! Several residents made Halloween lanterns of either Frankenstein’s monster, a ghost, or a more classic jack-o’-lantern. We also made treat bags for students at the nearby St. John Neumann Preschool. In return, they gave us handcrafted pumpkins for a pumpkin patch. And since they couldn’t join us in-person, they also sent us photos of the children all dressed up for a “costume parade.” Thank you so much for the kind, fun, and festive gifts – they’re the perfect Halloween decorations for us all to admire and enjoy!

We kept the Halloween theme rolling with a socially distanced coloring activity! Participants tapped into their artistic side while coloring a “Happy Halloween” picture, and the results were boo-tiful. Take a look! ????

Eagan Pointe’s leadership team members dressed up as pumpkins for Halloween this year. Check out how great they looked all together as a pumpkin patch! And, since Halloween is all about fun, we had to strike a pose for the traditional “silly picture!”

More Halloween fun to close out the month of October! We held a “zombie hunt” activity where residents searched for hidden “zombies” all around Eagan Pointe. The hunt was successful and the participants received yummy caramel apples as their prize.

Memorial Day Activities

May 29th, 2020

Although this Memorial Day looked a little different for Eagan Pointe, we participated in different Memorial Day activities to remember and honor the brave souls who gave everything for our country.

The residents on the Garden Coves had a good time putting some floral decorations together for Memorial Day. Here are their red, white, and blue creations!

We also made sure to recognize the Veterans and the Veterans Wives that live here. All our residents that were either Veterans or Veterans Wives put a ribbon on their door to recognize their contribution to our country.

Thank you to all who have served and their families that supported them!
