Eagan Pointe recently received this beautiful cake and card as a thank you for caring for their loved ones throughout the year. We are so grateful for the kind words and for such a delicious and wonderful treat! 🍰😊
Over the past few days, Eagan Pointe Senior Living has looked more like Santa’s workshop!
Though there’s no party this year, we’ve still been spreading holiday cheer.
The Eagan Pointe Elves decorated the lobby and made it look beautiful. Cindy, Lois, and Mari Sue were some of the folks who were busy frosting cookies, which they got to take home – yum! And Caren got creative and crafty, making this adorable mini tree from a pine cone and wine cork.
We’re having fun keeping things festive and safe at Eagan Pointe!

For the Thanksgiving holiday, Eagan Pointe Senior Living served a door-to-door buffet for our tenants. Each of them really enjoyed the meal and the safety measures with which it was served.
We received many THANK YOUs from our tenants, which warmed our hearts:
- “Thank you for leaving the delicious Thanksgiving dinner for me. It was delicious, as your meals always are!”
- “We want you and your kitchen crew to know how we appreciated your delicious Thanksgiving dinner. It was very tasty and served beautifully by your cheerful crew. Thank you.”
- “We thank you for the safe environment you and your staff keep us. Also, for your help in preparing the delicious Thanksgiving dinner. It was the highlight of our day.”
- “Thank you for the delicious Thanksgiving dinner. Your food made the day more like Thanksgiving with my family. All of the food tasted like home-cooked.”
“I spent Thanksgiving by myself for the first time in my 84 years. I want to thank you for your efforts to produce a special dinner in this crazy year. We had all the special side dishes, including a dollop of cranberry in the center, a cheese roll, and whipped topping on the pumpkin pie. We’re lucky to have you.”

One of Eagan Pointe’s residents, Millie, recently had her 100th birthday! She celebrated with a special Zoom call from friends and family, gift baskets, flowers, and, of course, yummy birthday cupcakes. Please join us in congratulating and wishing a very happy birthday to Millie! 🎉🧁🎊💐
Ricardo, a member of Eagan Pointe’s dietary team, celebrated his five-year work anniversary last month. We are so lucky to have you in our community, and we can’t thank you enough for all your hard work and positivity over the years. Please join us in thanking and congratulating our friend, Ricardo!
Eagan Pointe Senior Living associate, Matt, recently had his 10-year work anniversary! We celebrated with delicious gourmet cupcakes. We received a package from the company who made his commemorative 10-year anniversary jacket, but it turned out to be promotional items. We decided to make the most of it and have some fun, so we still gave it to him as a joke while we wait for the jacket. What a good sport and AMAZING team member! We appreciate you and everything you do for our community. Please join us in thanking and congratulating Matt on 10 years with Eagan Pointe! 🎉🧁🎊
The confirmation class at St. Thomas Becket Catholic Church in Eagan wanted to thank and show support for the Eagan Pointe staff during these difficult times, so they surprised us with gift bags and a heartwarming message:
“We want to say THANK YOU for all of your efforts over the past several months. With COVID affecting everyone, you are truly the unsung heroes. Please enjoy these treats as our way of showing that we appreciate you. Stay safe and healthy, and God bless.” -St. Thomas Becket Confirmation Zoom Group Teens

“The soldier above all others prays for peace, for it is the soldier who must suffer and bear the deepest wounds and scars of war.” -Douglas MacArthur

We certainly got into the Halloween spirit here at Eagan Pointe last month! Several residents made Halloween lanterns of either Frankenstein’s monster, a ghost, or a more classic jack-o’-lantern. We also made treat bags for students at the nearby St. John Neumann Preschool. In return, they gave us handcrafted pumpkins for a pumpkin patch. And since they couldn’t join us in-person, they also sent us photos of the children all dressed up for a “costume parade.” Thank you so much for the kind, fun, and festive gifts – they’re the perfect Halloween decorations for us all to admire and enjoy!
We kept the Halloween theme rolling with a socially distanced coloring activity! Participants tapped into their artistic side while coloring a “Happy Halloween” picture, and the results were boo-tiful. Take a look! 🎃👻🕷🕸
Eagan Pointe’s leadership team members dressed up as pumpkins for Halloween this year. Check out how great they looked all together as a pumpkin patch! And, since Halloween is all about fun, we had to strike a pose for the traditional “silly picture!”
More Halloween fun to close out the month of October! We held a “zombie hunt” activity where residents searched for hidden “zombies” all around Eagan Pointe. The hunt was successful and the participants received yummy caramel apples as their prize.

We celebrated our amazing community members for Tenant Appreciation Week at the end of September! Here’s our friend, Helen, showing off the rose she received – one of the many daily gifts we gave out that week! 🌹
In celebration of Healthcare Foodservice Workers Week, the Eagan Pointe staff gave our dietary team a yummy cake to recognize and thank them for all they do for the health and safety of our community members. Pictured here from left to right:
