We’ve been busy getting into the spirit of the holiday with Halloween crafts! Check out photos from all the fun.
Eagan Pointe tenants got creative for some fall spirit! We made the cutest fall pumpkin decorations out of the most unusual of supplies: unused toilet paper rolls wrapped in fabric! Everyone had a good laugh about the less-than-usual supplies they were using.
More pumpkin crafts! This time, Eagan Pointe tenants decorated REAL mini pumpkins by pouring paint onto them and letting it drip down in different patterns. No two pumpkins looked the same, and they were complete just in time for Halloween! 🎃
Even MORE Halloween crafts! Eagan Pointe tenants made witches hats for Halloween. One resident, Mike Rand, stated he did not make his big enough – guess it must be for someone else!

On September 28, Eagan Pointe Senior Living and the Southview Senior
Communities team will be joining the Alzheimer’s Association Minnesota-North
Dakota for the 2019 Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Target Field. There are 5.8
million Americans living with Alzheimer’s today, and that number is projected
to rise to nearly 14 million by 2050. We’d love your help as we work to raise
awareness, reduce risk, and eliminate Alzheimer’s through research and care. Learn more about donating and/or registering to walk.
Together, we can fight to end Alzheimer’s!
Here are some photos from last year’s walk.

Our residents at Eagan Pointe Senior Living have been keeping very busy this autumn season! From a beautiful fall leaves tour to a visit from the Precious Pets program, we are having lots of fun as we inch closer to the new year. Take a look at our most recent activities!
The tenants on the Garden Cove floors of Eagan Pointe were able to participate in a Precious Pets program. The animals were all rescued pets. The tenants were able pet them and hold them. The pets included a gecko and other reptiles, as well as a lion rabbit, hamster, guinea pig, hedgehog, and more. The tenants loved seeing the animals and being able to hold them in their laps!
The tenants of Eagan Pointe took a tour to see the fall leaves change colors. We drove all around the town of Eagan right at the peak of the color change. Everywhere we looked there was a different color to see!
The tenants of Eagan Pointe took a virtual trip to Sweden. We learned all about the customs of Swedish people and what to do when you are in Sweden. We topped it off with authentic Swedish meatballs from Ikea with some lingonberry sauce and pickled herring. And just like the Swedes, we drank some caffeinated coffee.
The tenants of Eagan Pointe have been busy with festive activities. Here they are preparing for Halloween by coloring in witches and pumpkins!

The residents of Eagan Pointe Senior Living are making the best of this fall season! Take a look at some of the fun fall activities from the past couple weeks.
Some of our Garden Cove residents made fall trees come to life with Q-tip painting. Some had already lost their leaves and were raked into a pile at the bottom. The residents used their creativity to bring a little fall to their rooms.
This was an extraordinary day! The residents of Eagan Pointe Senior Living went on a Padelford tour down the Mississippi River. They were able to learn a little bit about the history, as well as see the beautiful nature surrounding the boat.
The residents of Eagan Pointe celebrated Oktoberfest! They enjoyed German snacks, German polka music, and of course, beer. What Oktoberfest celebration would be complete without a little sauerkraut? Prost!Read More

In honor of the 2018 Winter Olympics, Eagan Pointe Senior Living hosted an Olympic themed happy hour. It started with Lenore bringing in the Eagan Pointe Olympic torch. All the residents were split up into different countries and played a trivia game together. The team that got the most correct answers were the gold medal winners! This year the winning team was from Greece, which included Denny, Julie, Patty, Marilyn, Shirley, and Betty.Read More

Eagan Pointe held their 2nd annual Coronation Ball as part of their week-long Eagan Pointe Winter Carnival. Residents nominated other residents to be king and queen of Eagan Pointe. At the Coronation Ball, King Stuart and Queen Diane (2017) passed their crowns onto the new King Dick and Queen Jewell (2018). King Dick and Queen Jewell recited the Eagan Pointe Oath and started the ball off with a first dance. All the tenants of Eagan Pointe Senior Living enjoyed the ball by dancing, socializing, and enjoying delicious refreshments.
Eagan Pointe Winter Carnival’s medallion hunt winner, Patty, was also recognized at the ball. She was presented her prize and told everyone where she found the medallion and what led her search!

Eagan Pointe hosted a special patriotic happy hour to honor the veterans and their wives who live in our community. Thank you to those who have fought for our country! The tenants enjoyed munching on snacks, sipping on drinks, and singing along with patriotic songs.
