Summer Food, Fashion, and Fun at Eagan Pointe

Summer Food, Fashion, and Fun at Eagan Pointe

June 21st, 2019

This June, we kicked off the season with a little summer food, fashion, and fun at Eagan Pointe!

Eagan Pointe tenants enjoyed some nice summer weather while sipping cocktails on the patio.

The tenants of Eagan Pointe enjoyed a delightful meal together at Doolittles Woodfire Grill in Eagan. It’s usually an all-female outing, but this time we were lucky enough to have Burt with us. He came with his “cape” on, so we all called him “The King”! Everyone had an amazing time and came back with our bellies full.

Eagan Pointe hosted their semi-annual TaylorMarie’s fashion show. The models of the show are pictured here, left to right: Resident Director Renee, MaryAnn, Mary, Lois, Activity Director Taylor, and Evelyn. The models had so much fun showing off the new spring and summer styles while audience members got to enjoy their peers’ modeling abilities.

The tenants of Eagan Pointe enjoyed reading books with the children from KinderMusik during their weekly visit.

Mother’s Day Mimosas and Muffins, Bird Show, and Memorial Day

May 24th, 2019
Mother’s Day celebration, parrot visitors, and Memorial Day wishes from Eagan Pointe!

Eagan Pointe hosted an event called Mother’s Day Mimosas and Muffins to honor all mothers, aunts, grandmothers, daughters, dog moms, and more! Eagan Pointe staff and volunteers served them for the hour and socialized with all the moms around. We hope that everyone felt as special and appreciated as they deserve!

Eagan Pointe hosted “Parrot Help,” a group who rescues parrots across the Twin Cities area and cares for them until they’re adopted by their forever family. This is the fourth year they’ve come to show us their exotic birds. They even let Activity Director Taylor and Coordinator Nichole hold some of their birds!

This Memorial Day weekend, we at Eagan Pointe Senior Living remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for country.

Tree Painting, Padelford Tour, Oktoberfest, Oh My!

October 17th, 2018

The residents of Eagan Pointe Senior Living are making the best of this fall season! Take a look at some of the fun fall activities from the past couple weeks.

Some of our Garden Cove residents made fall trees come to life with Q-tip painting. Some had already lost their leaves and were raked into a pile at the bottom. The residents used their creativity to bring a little fall to their rooms.

This was an extraordinary day! The residents of Eagan Pointe Senior Living went on a Padelford tour down the Mississippi River. They were able to learn a little bit about the history, as well as see the beautiful nature surrounding the boat.

The residents of Eagan Pointe celebrated Oktoberfest! They enjoyed German snacks, German polka music, and of course, beer. What Oktoberfest celebration would be complete without a little sauerkraut? Prost!
