Although this Memorial Day looked a little different for Eagan Pointe, we participated in different Memorial Day activities to remember and honor the brave souls who gave everything for our country.
The residents on the Garden Coves had a good time putting some floral decorations together for Memorial Day. Here are their red, white, and blue creations!
We also made sure to recognize the Veterans and the Veterans Wives that live here. All our residents that were either Veterans or Veterans Wives put a ribbon on their door to recognize their contribution to our country.
Thank you to all who have served and their families that supported them!Read More

To honor the Mothers at Eagan Pointe, we had family members send in pictures of their mothers and we created a “We Love Our Mothers” wall. ❤
Our staff served tenants of Eagan Pointe a hot breakfast of homemade egg bake, hash browns and delicious bread.
One tenant sent along a note of gratitude:
“Renee, Mickey, Taylor and all the others: What a treat!! Thanks much for the delicious breakfast/brunch – better than going out to eat. You are really taking good care of us. We do appreciate it. Thanks!” – Jean C.

Eagan Pointe tenants did a sing-along in the hallway while practicing social distancing. Music is always good for the soul! 🎼

The 2020 Eagan Pointe Winter Carnival was full of fun events, including our 2nd annual puzzle race and our coronation ceremony. Check it out!
Eagan Pointe recently celebrated its 2020 Winter Carnival with several fun events! One morning, tenants were served their breakfasts by a lovely group of Saint Paul Vulcans. They made sure each tenant received their food with a mark on their cheek. Stay tuned for more posts about our 2020 Winter Carnival!

This year, we held our 2nd annual puzzle race as part of the Eagan Pointe Winter Carnival. Our 2020 winners included Nurses Sarah, Michell, and Shailla, as well as Assistant Residence Director Mickey. They finished their puzzle in just NINE minutes flat, and other participating residents weren’t far behind them! Check out their masterpieces. 🧩
The final event of our 2020 Winter Carnival was the coronation. We recognized our 2020 medallion hunt winner, Howard Hinseth, for finding the medallion hidden within Eagan Pointe. We also congratulated our 2020 puzzle race champions Sarah, Michelle, Mickey, and Shailla.
And lastly – for the main event, of course – we crowned our 2020 king and queen. Former queen, Donna, and a few past kings passed their crowns to our new king and queen, George Failes and Ruby Lee. A merry time was had by all, and King George and Queen Ruby are ready to take on the year as leaders at Eagan Pointe!

From decorating our campus to touring the city to take in all the Christmas lights, we’ve certainly been getting into the holiday spirit at Eagan Pointe!
Santa’s elves who live at Eagan Pointe came out to decorate and bring holiday cheer! Our building looks so festive thanks to the help of the wonderful tenants! 🎄
We hosted our annual holiday party here at Eagan Pointe on December 4. We were even lucky enough to have a couple special guests: Santa and his elf. The tenants of Eagan Pointe enjoyed food, music, and a very joyous and spirited time!🎅🎄🥳
The tenants that live in Eagan Pointe’s Garden Cove units spent a night enjoying Christmas lights all over town. Some houses, like the one pictured here, even had decorations on every inch of their lawns. Tenants had to get all bundled up to face the cold, but it was worth it to see all the Christmas lights!

We’ve been busy getting into the spirit of the holiday with Halloween crafts! Check out photos from all the fun.
Eagan Pointe tenants got creative for some fall spirit! We made the cutest fall pumpkin decorations out of the most unusual of supplies: unused toilet paper rolls wrapped in fabric! Everyone had a good laugh about the less-than-usual supplies they were using.
More pumpkin crafts! This time, Eagan Pointe tenants decorated REAL mini pumpkins by pouring paint onto them and letting it drip down in different patterns. No two pumpkins looked the same, and they were complete just in time for Halloween! 🎃
Even MORE Halloween crafts! Eagan Pointe tenants made witches hats for Halloween. One resident, Mike Rand, stated he did not make his big enough – guess it must be for someone else!

Congratulations to the winners of the Eagan Pointe March Madness Bracket Challenge, Helen Leslie and Joan Darling. Both finished the tournament with 127 points each – almost 30 points above the next best score! Way to go ladies! 🏀🏆🥇
The volunteers of Eagan Pointe spent time putting the dining room flower pens back together.
