Our Residents are Keeping Busy – Check Out these Fun Activities!

October 29th, 2018

Our residents at Eagan Pointe Senior Living have been keeping very busy this autumn season! From a beautiful fall leaves tour to a visit from the Precious Pets program, we are having lots of fun as we inch closer to the new year. Take a look at our most recent activities!

The tenants on the Garden Cove floors of Eagan Pointe were able to participate in a Precious Pets program. The animals were all rescued pets. The tenants were able pet them and hold them. The pets included a gecko and other reptiles, as well as a lion rabbit, hamster, guinea pig, hedgehog, and more. The tenants loved seeing the animals and being able to hold them in their laps!

The tenants of Eagan Pointe took a tour to see the fall leaves change colors. We drove all around the town of Eagan right at the peak of the color change. Everywhere we looked there was a different color to see!

The tenants of Eagan Pointe took a virtual trip to Sweden. We learned all about the customs of Swedish people and what to do when you are in Sweden. We topped it off with authentic Swedish meatballs from Ikea with some lingonberry sauce and pickled herring. And just like the Swedes, we drank some caffeinated coffee.

The tenants of Eagan Pointe have been busy with festive activities. Here they are preparing for Halloween by coloring in witches and pumpkins!

Tree Painting, Padelford Tour, Oktoberfest, Oh My!

October 17th, 2018

The residents of Eagan Pointe Senior Living are making the best of this fall season! Take a look at some of the fun fall activities from the past couple weeks.

Some of our Garden Cove residents made fall trees come to life with Q-tip painting. Some had already lost their leaves and were raked into a pile at the bottom. The residents used their creativity to bring a little fall to their rooms.

This was an extraordinary day! The residents of Eagan Pointe Senior Living went on a Padelford tour down the Mississippi River. They were able to learn a little bit about the history, as well as see the beautiful nature surrounding the boat.

The residents of Eagan Pointe celebrated Oktoberfest! They enjoyed German snacks, German polka music, and of course, beer. What Oktoberfest celebration would be complete without a little sauerkraut? Prost!
