Flag Raising Ceremony

Following a recent ceremony on Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, the Stars and Stripes now fly proudly at Eagan Pointe Senior Living.
Shortly after receiving a new flag pole and American flag for our building, Eagan Pointe hosted a flag-raising ceremony featuring the American Legion and the VFW Post from Rosemount. We commemorated the occasion with a rifle salute and a trumpet playing to recognize the colors. U.S. Marine Sergeant Meikos Ellis led those in attendance in the Pledge of Allegiance and honored all the Veterans who live in Eagan Pointe by reading off their names. The ceremony was concluded with the serving of patriotic cupcakes and coffee.
